Job Description:

Our client is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer with experience in CNC/machining to carry out manufacturing engineering duties with at least moderate guidance. The role entails analyzing data to troubleshoot and implement new test methods or manufacturing procedures to lower costs and boost productivity. Automation and SAP are utilized in the environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of three years of engineering experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Thorough knowledge of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing production/cell development
  • Experience in high tolerance machining, Licons (CNC), and transfer lines
  • Ability to operate computer-aided design software to support model and print modifications and development
  • Ability to plan and coordinate activities and projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills to motivate a diverse group of people
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent in English and the primary language used in the area of responsibility and/or location

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in automation

Responsibilities:

  • Execute various manufacturing engineering tasks to implement production/processing techniques and controls to meet quality standards in a cost-effective manner
  • Serve as liaison support between the engineering department and manufacturing
  • Make recommendations for improvements and/or modifications for sequence of operations, equipment utilization, and related matters
  • Ensure compliance with current project schedules and approved quality standards by monitoring assigned operations
  • Provide input on the purchase or building of new equipment or modernization of existing production/processing equipment
  • Work with customers and/or suppliers to establish application requirements
  • Evaluate current technologies for cost reduction and product and production enhancement; review and approve drawings/designs, standard work, and develop new systems
  • Coordinate the installation of new tools, fixtures, and equipment into the facility
  • Monitor and support facility metrics for safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Perform other duties as assigned
