ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Leader of Major Project(s), ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope and budget.
- Develops a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
- Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation.
- Measures project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Performs risk management to minimize project risks.
- Manages changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Facilitates and participates in teams aimed at the resolution of quality issues and concerns.
- Initiates, coordinates, and follows through with all activities involved with new Major Project implementations, continuous improvement initiatives, as well as seek opportunities to improve existing manufacturing practices and procedures.
- Drives interactions with customers, vendors, contractors, and other NIC support functions and staff to achieve successful relationships and project implementations.
- Familiarity with APQP tools, including creation or updating Process Flow Maps and PFMEA’s

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university or an equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience.
- Experience in successfully applying Six Sigma and Lean Methodologies desired.
- PMP certification is a plus.
- 3-5 years of proven work experience in project management in the manufacturing field.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
- Must demonstrate strong leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple related teams, set organizational priorities and allocate resources.
- GD&T knowledge is a benefit.
- Excellent communication, planning, and organization skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $73,585.00 - $80,458.00 per year
