Position Overview:
The Manufacturing Supervisor will provide overall supervision of the manufacturing functions in our sheet metal facility. Press Brake experience preferred. This opening is for 2nd Shift; Monday - Friday, 2 pm - 10 pm.
Specific duties include:

• Manage the manufacturing operations within established safety practices
• Provide technical input and blueprint interpretation to ensure parts are fabricated to customer specifications and quality requirements
• Manage the operation of multiple functions throughout the sheet metal production area
• Responsible for safety, housekeeping, organization, and cleanliness of the production floor
• Manage employee schedules, timecards and attendance
• Perform tasks such as performance management, training and development, recognition, time management, and corrective action
• Promote the concepts of 5S by maintaining clean & organized work areas with emphasis on safety, quality, efficiency, & utilization

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 - 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or similar industrial environment
• Highly organized with the ability to manage time and prioritize work in an effective manner
• Motivated self-starter capable of dealing with a variety of tasks in a fast paced rapid growth environment
• Ability to interpret and explain written and statistical data
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to interface with employees
• Ability to communicate with all levels of employees inside the company
• Highly developed, demonstrated teamwork skills
• Demonstrated ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods, processes, and reduce costs
• Ability to deal with and thrive in a rapidly changing environment
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings and technical documents
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication in a prototype and volume manufacturing setting
• Familiarity and skill with the tools of the trade (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite, SolidWorks).
• Attention to detail.

• Articulate communicator

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Sheet Metal fabrication, press brake operation (Cincinnati and Amada)

Education Requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
