Quietflex, a member of Daikin Industries is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Manufacturing Supervisor 2ND SHIFT position. The supervisor in a manufacturing organization directs the activities of employees engaged in production work. A manufacturing supervisor also ensures the safety of workers in the organization by setting safety policies for the department.

- Train, instruct, and supervise employees using established production methods to produce a quality product in a safe and timely manner to meet production demands
- Provide work assignments, procure parts, and communicate production demands to employees as well as perform quality and safety audits and generate maintenance requests
- Maintain safe working environment.
- Meet and or exceed company metrics including safety, quality, cost, and delivery
- Document and complete production reports, scrap tickets, accident reports, and discipline notices while promoting and enforcing company policies, safety rules and work instructions
- Compares actual performance with planned performance and takes corrective action if needed to ensure that objectives are achieved. Utilize accurate measurement tools to track area key indices, to identify unfavorable trends, and to take corrective action.
- Meet key performance indicators such as Quality, Safety, Productivity, Scrap Rates, Labor Efficiencies, On-time Delivery, Machine Down Time and Inventory Levels to ensure operations are running in an efficient matter.
- Proactively use Lean tools to improve operating efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality and safety results.
- Complete required systems work: Mapics, Kronos, Zone etc.
- Serves as a resource to the Plant Manager and others in resolving complex problems and issues.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
- Provides direction to employees, orients, trains, assigns and performance management.
- Takes on duties and tasks that have substantial variety and complexity.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- College degree preferred or equivalent work experience
- 8 years of experience in a high-volume manufacturing plant preferably in similar industry
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role
- Strong interpersonal skills, and leadership skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word)
- Strong working knowledge of manufacturing operations
- Proven leadership skills, ability to train and develop employees
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to converse with employees and upper management,
- Problem solving in a fast past manufacturing environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
