Contech Engineered Solutions is seeking an Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Shakopee, MN. This is a full time opportunity, with benefts, PTO and paid holidays. We are seeking a career-focused individual who is interested in a hands-on role that will develop into a more technical position. Primary responsiblities are below and there will be some cross training on functions within the plant.

Primary Responsibilities

• Operates Sheet Metal Forming machinery while consistently lifting/carrying/pulling metal sheets, ranging from 20-180 lbs. (130lb.+ lifted by two operators)
• Hand Assemble sheet metal units with nuts, bolts & washers. Utilizing cranes/pneumatic tools.
• Checks all finished work for obvious defects.
• Records production onto production reports.
• Meets or exceeds production goals.
• Maintains work area and equipment in clean, orderly conditions.
• Receives instructions and schedules from plant supervision.
• Forklift use needed to move material in and out of building.
• Other duties assigned.

Required

• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Manufacturing, production or distribution experience. (preferred)
