Position Overview:- Develops market direction/strategic plan and ensures its alignment with corporate strategy and direction.
- Leadership in enhancing clinical processes to better deliver high quality care and patient experience through the CARING model
- Develops and motivates an effective management and clinical staff to achieve market and corporate goals, ensuring top down alignment to market and corporate strategy.
- Conducts periodic performance evaluations and drives personal and team performance through encouragement, training & development.
- Act as a liaison between healthcare system partner, home office and the facilities.
- Organize and actively participate in quarterly board meetings with healthcare system partners.
Marketing & Business Development
- Engages with key stakeholders, community and government leaders to generate brand awareness and volume.
- Works closely with development to identify and execute on opportunities to expand our presence in the market
- Work with PR/Marketing to deliver targeted messaging in an effort to inform target demographic and drive patient population and/or visits.
- Works with the Program Management Office to support the launch of new facilities and other market/corporate projects.
Operations & Compliance
- Oversee the budget development and ensure financial performance of the market meets or exceeds budgeted expectations.
- Steer and focus Monthly Operations Review presentations and discussions with all key stakeholders
- Plans and directs the operations of assigned market in support of Key Performance Indicators
- Conducts team meetings with market team members to discuss current objectives and performance in clear and concise terms.
- Supports the development and implementation of clinical and patient service programs that meet client needs, regulatory requirements and patient satisfaction requirements.
- Maintains annual budget for the assigned market. Monitors financial reports of the market to ensure budgetary compliance with facility, market and corporate goals.
- Visits hospital facilities regularly to inspect operations to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Participates in State and Federal, Licensing and Accreditation, and Internal Quality and Compliance audits.
- Ensure that the hospital-wide quality assessment and performance improvement (QAPI) program and training programs address problems identified by the infection control officer or officers; and
- Prioritize/coordinate all home office resources as needed in order for the facilities to achieve goals/objectives.
- Completes all daily, weekly, and/or monthly reports on a timely basis meeting all prescribed deadlines.
Chief Nursing
- Lead clinical services through the integration, coordination and direction of patient care within the overall operation of the hospital.
- Ensure high-quality, cost-effective healthcare consistent with the mission and values established by the organization in conjunction with any government regulations, licensing and accreditation requirements.
- Work closely with hospital administration to hire, develop and maintain appropriate staffing levels.
- Ensure that patient care, clinical and staffing standards are met.
- Advise senior management on best practices in nursing and patient care.
- Work with leadership to establish compensation and benefit programs for nurses.
- Direct the planning of new patient services.
- Establish nursing policies and procedures.
- Conduct performance improvement activities and represent nursing services at board of director meetings.
- Ensure that nursing standards are upheld.
- Maintain regulatory and compliance approvals and accreditation.
- Bachelor Degree in healthcare administration, nursing, business, or related field.
- Prefer Master's degree in business administration or healthcare administration.
- 5-10 years in healthcare management with progressive operations experience.
- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
- Demonstrated experience in developing growth strategies
- Completion of FEMA ICS 100, ICS 200, ICS 700, and ICS 800 within 60 days of hire
- Ability to mentor and develop team members.
