Job description
Overview:We are looking for a Market Outreach Lead to provide marketing support for the National Institute of Health's (NIH) Supply Center to market the supply center's products and services through the use of a creative, internal communication program; use of varied channels, from print to digital, for internal communications.
Responsibilities:
- Design and distribute promotional flyers on a variety of topics relative to acquisition, products, and services
- Produce weekly promotional flyers.
- Reach out to vendor community to encourage participation and collaboration at weekly table top sessions and promote table tops internally to the entire NIH community
- Coordinate weekly product demonstration shows.
- Coordinate monthly product demonstration shows at various NIH facilities; demonstrate the supply center's top 20 products, and internally promote demonstrations to the entire NIH community
- Coordinate the activities for the production of the annual Supply Center Magazine to include an editorial calendar that defines newsworthy events and topics to be covered through the year leading up to publication; and collaborate with vendor community to develop story ideas and profiles for the publication
- Coordinate all the activities to produce department videos
- Design and conduct customer surveys to elicit feedback on services provided and supplies maintained.
- Coordinate quarterly meetings in collaboration with client staff.
- Meet regularly with representatives to determine the supply and services needs of the client community.
- Bachelor's Degree
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust
- Experience Minimum two years of experience in either marketing and supply management
- Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
- Ability to drive a government vehicle to and from Gaithersburg and Bethesda, MD
