Job Title: Employee Resources Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable individual who wants to take the next step in their career and join the team of an amazing group of professionals. Servicios de La Raza is committed to advocating for culturally responsive and linguistically appropriate services by providing integrated, holistically comprehensive services in multiple areas. A Marketing Coordinator at Servicios will learn how Servicios provides services that elevate the health and well-being of historically underserved communities. As a member of the Development Team, they will be responsible for assisting the team with a variety of tasks that include content creation for all social media channels- currently these include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and TikTok and tracking social media, assisting staff in creating fliers and other marketing materials in both Spanish and English, participate in meetings, assist administratively with corporate gifts, clerical and supportive duties, and other duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities: Position Specific

  • Social media planning, managing, scheduling, and analytics. Proficiency with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Tik-Tok, Professional and advertising experience with social media, a plus but not required.
  • Creates engaging bilingual content for a range of media, including but not limited to digital and traditional ads, social media, signage, emails, landing pages, websites, magazines, press kit materials, and print collateral.
  • Creative design work. Experience with the Adobe suite, Canva, Hootsuite, etc., a plus but not required. Willingness to learn is required.
  • Works closely with the Manager of Marketing and Media Relations to understand expectations and priorities while delivering assignments on deadline and adhering to brand standards, meet on a regular basis with Development team and Manager of Marketing and Media Relations
  • Self-manages multiple projects simultaneously, meeting all deadlines, assignments, and requirements established by the PR manager
  • Provides research and proposes new ideas and solutions around designated projects
  • Copywriting – ability to bring a kind and professional voice to the agency’s social presence
  • Photography and editing, a plus
  • Wordpress proficiency, a plus.
  • A keen eye for what looks polished and professional as it relates to creative media content.
  • Understand the overall concept and work of Servicios de La Raza and the needs of the Latino community of Colorado
  • Assist at agency events with myriad marketing and non-marketing related duties
  • Ability to work remotely

Duties and Responsibilities: General

  • All members of the SDLR workforce are expected to support the agency’s community outreach, engagement, and recruitment efforts.
  • All members of the SDLR workforce are expected to support and engage in advocacy for social justice, community outreach and engagement, and bringing voice to the voiceless.
  • All members of the SDLR workforce are expected to support the agency’s fundraising objectives. Tasks might include activities like active fundraising, grant development, solicitation of donations, agency ambassadorship, and informational outreach, and public speaking.
  • Maintain a respectful and collaborative working relationship with all members of Servicios’ workforce
  • Participate in all required internal and external meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills:

  • Fluid competence in Spanish and English (oral and written)
  • Commitment to and experience with equity, cultural relevance, diversity, social justice, and disparity reduction practices with persons of color, agencies of color, and un- and underserved communities
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines

Required Education and Credentialing:

  • Preferred: Education or pursuit of education or degree in Marketing, Communications, or Marketing-related field
  • Passion for social media content creation and educating the community
