JOB TITLE: Marketing Manager (FT)
ORGANIZATION: YOSA (Youth Orchestras of San Antonio)
REPORTS TO: Director of Communications and Marketing SUPERVISES: Contractors, Interns, Volunteers
POSITION SUMMARY: YOSA is seeking a passionate and skilled marketer to communicate the dynamic story of YOSA throughout the Greater San Antonio region. The Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Communications and Marketing and is responsible for executing YOSA’s strategic marketing plans. This position requires a keen ability to multitask in a time sensitive environment.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Execute a comprehensive communications plan, utilizing multiple channels, to promote YOSA’s brand and foster relationships with various constituent groups.
- Utilize traditional and non-traditional avenues to tell the story of YOSA’s impact in the community.
- Implement marketing campaigns for recruitment, concerts, events, and civic engagement.
- Utilize constituent insights and market research to assist with strategic marketing decisions.
- Track and measure the performance of advertising campaigns using relevant metrics.
- Coordinate departmental messaging to maintain consistency and clarity in all YOSA materials and communications.
- Develop design materials, including graphics, images, videos, and visual assets, for various media platforms such as social media, websites, event promotion, and marketing materials.
- Conduct interviews with musicians, students, parents, and other stakeholders to gather relevant and engaging stories.
- Act as a public advocate for YOSA and effectively communicate its core values to the public.
- Collaborate with Director of Student Experience to optimize merchandise sales, procedures, andactivities for revenue generation and customer satisfaction.
- Promote ticket sales for Zachary Series and Classic Albums Live Concerts.
- Provide support at live events and concerts and manage merchandise sales at YOSA events.
- Recruit and manage student interns for logistical support.
- Ensure timely delivery of all project deliverables.
- Assist with other tasks and responsibilities as needed to support YOSA's mission and goals as anonprofit organization.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field with 1-3 years of campaign and multi-channel marketing experience.
- Proficient in creative writing, content creation, video editing, and design.
- Experience in a dynamic organization with live events.
- Excellent communicator and team player.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
- Proven leadership skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in non-profit and/or performing arts sectors is preferred.
- Demonstrated interest in classical music or performing arts.
- Experience working with performing arts CRMs.
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.

COMPENSATION: Salary range is $40,000 - $45,000 depending on experience. Excellent employee benefits package including fully paid health insurance for full time employees, dental, PTO, retirement, etc.
