Position Summary

The Marketing Assistant will report to the Marketing Director and provide general support to the marketing department.

Duties and Responsibilities

Performs market research and gathers data to support marketing activities and campaigns.

Helps organize, coordinate, and prepare for marketing events such as seminars, conferences, and trade shows.

Provides administrative support for a variety of marketing projects and tasks.

Gathers marketing data and helps prepare reports.

Manages, prints, and assembles marketing collateral.

Helps maintain sales and marketing CRM database.

Qualifications/Skills

High-level organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Excellent verbal communication skills.

Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Comfortable with multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

General understanding of business and marketing concepts.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Experience with CRM software preferred.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED certificate.

1-3 years of experience as a marketing assistant.

Associates or Bachelors degree in marketing, business or a related field a plus.

Salary Range

Texas Marketing Assistant range 34k - 200k

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Work Environment

This position performs its duties from our New Braunfels, TX office. This position operates in a professional office environment and role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, mobile devices, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

Physical Demands

While performing the functions of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; frequently required to talk and hear, use hands and fingers to type, scroll and use computer equipment. The employee is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection of text/data in both print and electronic forms.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time exempt position reporting to our New Braunfels, TX office. Days/hours worked are dependent on the workload at the time. General availability and presence in the office is expected during regular business hours from 8am 5pm Monday-Friday. However, some flexibility is allowed. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Travel

There is no major travel requirement for this position. However, infrequent travel may be necessary to visit remote office(s), attend conferences/industry events, etc. Attendance at our annual corporate Staff Retreat is required.
