As a material coordinator you will coordinate the transfer of raw materials and finished products between various production areas, external warehouses and ensure that customer orders are shipped on time, in full. You will support the site supervisor in fulfillment activity related to internal and external production, customer orders, movement of components and finished goods between various parts of the warehouse, inventory accuracy, and space utilization. You will partner with material coordinators to drive process improvement and innovation that contributes to the bottom line. It’s critical that you be detail oriented, self-motivated, and can work independently in a constantly changing environment.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Process & Cost Control: Work cross-functionally to identify and eliminate all barriers and support the business as we work to achieve financial goals.

• Maintain and develop key strategic relationships with the team in Bothell, contract manufacturers and warehouse staff
• Monitor key performance indicators for improvement and control purposes
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and delivering materials to various production locations
• Complete transfers and adjustments of inventory in an ERP system
• Monitor inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts
• Coordinate material movements between offsite manufacturing locations
• Complete non-stock shipping activities including securely packaging items, creating shipping labels, and coordinating pickups
• Work closely with other departments including quality, marketing, service, and engineering to ensure material requirements are satisfied and space in the warehouse is being fully utilized
• Other duties as assigned
• Ensure that customers orders are being fulfilled accurately and within service level agreements
• Maintain and update existing supply chain SOPs; create new SOPs as needed
• Identify cost saving opportunities and drive execution of initiatives with management team
• Deliver on fiscal year inventory goals and objectives

• Learn about the customer's challenges and objectives, both internal and external
• Liaison with other operations teams to share best practices
• Collaborate with internal operations and logistics partners to improve asset velocity
• Deliver process efficiencies that result in lower cost or higher asset productivity
• Analyze service and cost to determine areas of opportunity & drive results
