We, at Leggett & Platt Inc., are searching for a Material Handler within our operations team to help support our automotive business in Carthage, MO and Neosho, MO. Our automotive products fall into four primary groups: Seating and Lumbar support, Wireless Charging, Motors and Actuators, and Mechanical Cables. As a Material Handler, your contributions will have a direct impact on the business by achieving operational excellence to help the business.

So, what will you be doing as a Material Handler?

• Hold responsibility for all freight invoices
• Organize and coordinate all parcel services
• Manage customs activities
• Support cycle counting and inventory activities
• Support error message analysis and rectification in the system
• Support the accuracy of returnable packaging accounts

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• High School diploma
• Good command of MS Office and ERP system usage
• Knowledge of customs requirements
• Solid teamwork ability
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Detail and accuracy in working style

Things we consider a plus

• 2-3 years experience in a similar role in Supply Chain Management/Logistics
