We are looking for a talented Material Handler Team Lead - 3rd Shift to join our team specializing in manufacturing for our Components Business Segment inNeillsville, WI.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Coordinates the activities of a group of employees in order to meet established production specifications and schedules including volume, cost, wastage targets and quality standards.
- Comply with Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards, policies & procedures.
- Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke and visual standards.
- Monitor the performance and output of the team and assign tasks and inputs to ensure that work specifications, schedules, volume, cost, waste targets and quality standards are met.
- Ensures team members are using and following process documentation where applicable as part of operator training and defect investigation.
- Participates actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.

- Manages complexity - Making sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems.
Education, Licenses, Certifications
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
- Responsible for helping maintain integrity and accuracy of inventory, quantity, location, etc
- Sustain and improve an accurate material handling culture
- Ability and willingness to work receiving/line-stocking/shipping as required
- Lead department operations on respective shift. Key focus on working with teams to proactively meet customer requirements and to help the teams achieve continuous improvements in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Employee Morale & Environment.
- Serve as a first point of contact for employees, escalating issues to the Team Manager when necessary.
- Must support 5S and continuous improvement culture. Assist other employees by coaching/teaching 5S principles through daily application of 5S audits throughout their area.
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Work the hours that are dictated by material handling needs.
- Must be a quick learner
- Must be very adaptive to change and be an active change agent
- Understanding of Inventory Controls, Procedures & Policies helpful
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skill
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
