Boeing Distribution Inc. (BDI) is looking for a Materials Management & Transportation Manager (Warehouse) (Level K) to work in our Dallas, TX warehouse. This position manages and integrates employees activities across more than one area in materials management and transportation. Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals while maintaining a safety oriented culture. Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports. Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes. Manages, develops and motivates employees.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options: Dallas, TX.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Fosters a culture of safety, quality and inclusion

  • Engages stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, warehouse strategies are met.

  • Optimizes warehouse execution

  • Manages team performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability and in-service performance.

  • Mitigates risks and issues.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • 3 years or more of experience in a leadership role leading either projects, initiatives, or teams to meet business objectives and influence change

  • Experience prioritizing a high volume workload.

  • Experience developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers and partners.

  • 5 years’ experience with Supply Chain processes in a distribution center or shipping facility.

  • Ability to work 2nd Shift required.

Preferred Skills / Experience:

  • Experience in warehouse operations

  • Experience with supply chain/execution systems (process or tools) to ensure meeting customer requirements

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Shift:

This is a 2nd shift position.

Summary pay range: 107,950 – 146,050
