Shift: Day Shift

WORKING HOURS: 7am ? 4pm, 7:30am ? 4:30pm or 8:00am ? 5:00pm. Completely negotiable

OFFERED RELOCATION: $5000.00

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree (Supply Chain major or related field) required or equivalent combination of education and experience

SIZE OF TEAM: 2 -15 EMPLOYEES

ICP BONUS: 5% - 10%

JDE experience preferred,

Master planning skills

Warehouse management experience

This position's primary duties include managing and directing the activities of the Warehouse and Production Planning teams, but will also be responsible for providing backup and support to the Plant Manager.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Promoting a safety culture and enforcing all NOV HSE policies and procedures, also local government regulations as applicable. Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace.

Ensure all requirements for location quality certifications are meet and adhered to such as ISO, API, and welding certifications, etc.

In collaboration with Quality and/or Engineering, investigate all customer escapes and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent the re-occurrence for Assembly Area / Warehouse. Analyze and address product nonconformities (scrap, rework, use-as-is) to improve the cost of quality.

Coordinate the execution of manufacturing schedules based on sales requirements and plant capacity. Manage workflow balancing to ensure production schedules and delivery objectives are achieved cost effectively.

Review scheduled shop work orders, earned hours, personal time, to ensure all customer orders / production schedules are met and there are no job order variances (JOV).

Quote assembly and test times for assembly related products. Will be involved in the creation and maintenance of routers to ensure quality and product costing accuracy.

Ensures that product flows thru receiving, warehouse, and shipping in a timely manner and is packaged correctly for shipping with associated paperwork.

Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system

Manage and coordinate the activities of assembly / warehouse personnel including training, employee development, performance evaluation, discipline actions, hiring decisions, vacation schedules, shift schedules, and time management on work orders.

Communicate verbally and in writing to ensure all employees are properly informed about policies, procedures, location performance, programs, work schedules, etc.

May participate in sales / commercial process which includes providing information for large bid packages, product delivery and cost information, plant tours, etc.

Drive continuous improvement in machine shop in areas of Safety, Quality, LEAN, Delivery, Lead-Time Reduction, and Cost to enhance performance. Ability to review drawings, process routers, or procedures to identify and drive opportunities for quality and cost improvements.

All other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor?s Degree (Supply Chain major or related field) required, or equivalent combination of education and experience

3-5 year(s) of experience in supervising and directing personnel with regard to shipping, receiving, warehouse, and inventory control activities in the most efficient manner.

APICS and/or LEAN / Six Sigma Green Belt Certified preferred, or must have willingness to obtain if not certified

COMPETENCIES

Ability to review drawings, process routers, or procedures to identify and drive opportunities for quality and cost improvements.

Experience and knowledge of planning control systems, inventory management, and inventory controls.

Prior experience with engine assembly or pump assembly a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $107,000.00 - $126,000.00 per year
