Job description
We are seeking a Mechanic for our Department of Public Works. This position requires significant vehicle repair knowledge and experience (both diesel and gas engines),and must have the ability to perform welding and other metal fabrication operations. The person in this position must be able to expertly complete a variety of mechanical repairs and maintenance on all Public Works Department equipment and vehicles. Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and have, or be able to obtain, a CDL license within one year of hire. $25.00-$30.00/hour anticipated starting wage based on qualifications and experience.
