My client has an opening for a full-time Mechanical Engineer with an emphasis on plumbing

design/engineering. The ideal candidate will have experience in Plumbing design engineering for commercial

and healthcare clients. Position requires thorough knowledge of AutoCAD suite of products. This is a full-time

position located at any of our offices Parkersburg, Fairmont, Charleston, West Virginia or Athens, Ohio with

travel to the surrounding areas.

General Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Thorough knowledge and use of codes and standards applicable to Mechanical, Plumbing and Fire

Protection design.

• Production of construction drawings and/or specifications.

• Work with a project team to complete design tasks within the directed scope, schedule, and budget.

• Perform detailed design using AutoCAD suite of products.

• Personal time management skills- the ability to work independently and as a team.

• Perform field measurements and investigations.

• (Possibility to) Lead internal project design team of multiple disciplines.

• Flexibility required to complete drawings using a multitude of client drafting standards.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Four (4) years or more of Mechanical and/or Plumbing design experience (highly preferred).

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from an ABET accredited university.

• Successfully passed NCEES Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) with goal to achieve professional

licensure within 2 years.

• Proficient in 2D AutoCAD. REVIT experience is preferred.

• Effective communication and technical writing skills.

Benefits:

Max salary for a wonderful PE candidate would be $110k, we offer full benefits day 1. Insurance, 401k with 6 % match, unlimited pto for salary folks, cellphone, flexible work environment, bonus program with up to 10 or 20% of salary dependent on employment classification and performance.
