Skills/Qualifications:
- Able to read and interpret manuals, blueprints/drawings, specifications and written instruction
- 3 years Mechanical assembly experience required
- Equipment repair/maintenance experience
- 2 years Mechanical plumbing experience required
- Fabrication experience
- Manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of mechanical hand tools
- Able to lift 50 lbs. or more
- Forklift
- Able to stand or kneel for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail
Job Description/Duties:
- Build &/or assemble custom electric vehicle & industrial machinery per blueprints &/or work instructions using mechanical hand tools
- Collaborate with project managers and welding supervisors to ensure smooth work operations
- Position and assemble components, custom designed machinery &/or subcomponents by examining components for correct fit & function, fastening parts and/or subassemblies using templates, measuring devices and mechanical tools per instructions &/or specifications
- Verify & inspect completed component &/or product to ensure it meets drawing/written specifications
- Resolve assembly problems by addressing issues to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources if necessary
- Keep equipment and machinery operational by completing preventive maintenance; troubleshooting and repairing malfunctions as needed
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Document maintenance and repairs by completing production and/or quality forms
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing other duties as needed &/or directed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
