Egnyte is looking for a seasoned, well-connected, fast-paced professional to join our public relations team as the media relationship lead. This relationship expert will play an instrumental role working with reporters in top-tier press. This role reports to the Vice President of Global Communications.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Speak and meet with media contacts in top-tier, regional, national, and international media
  outlets daily.
  · Arrange and manage briefings or interviews every quarter with national business, local and
  top trade press.
  · Ability to generate creative story ideas and pitches around exciting software and technology
  solutions to business problems.
  · Define, plan, and execute public relations plans and strategies to drive awareness of Egnyte.
  · Coordinate consistency of messaging and outreach with corporate and products PR team
  members.
  · Monitor the news cycle for rapid response opportunities and work with Corporate PR and
  Product PR to develop commentary and secure placements.
  · Evaluate promotional programs to ensure they align with PR goals.
  · Track, evaluate and share results of PR efforts.
  · Monitor press email inbox and manage daily clips.
  · Manage press webpage on Egnyte.com.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  10+ years of experience with a top-tier or technology PR agency.
  · Demonstrate multiple Tier 1 placements in the last quarter.
  · Proficient with media monitoring software Muck Rack.
  · Strength in story-telling and bringing the Egnyte story to life in creative and thoughtful ways.
  · A strategic thinker who can deliver from plan through to execution.
  · Excellent writing and editing skills.
  · A self-starter with tenacity for execution and delivery.
  · Excellent communication skills, an engaging personality and the ability to multi-task are all
  essential qualifications for this position.

COMPENSATION:

• Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across multiple U.S. geographic locations, and pay varies based on defined markets. Pay varies by work location and may also be dependent on job-related skills, knowledge, and/or experience.
