Summary
The Medical Administrative Assistant has the primary responsibility for projecting an organized and professional image of Onsite Healthcares front office and reception area, with the goals of making the practice a welcoming place for visitors and staff.
The MAA position will provide administrative and clerical support to the OHC leadership team and will require a dynamic individual who is skilled at maintaining respectful relationships.
The MAA will handle a wide variety of tasks and challenges in fast-paced, growing health practice environment and must be comfortable working in a deadline driven, collaborative team environment. Confidentiality is a critical requirement, along with discretion and a positive attitude.

- Responsible for maintaining a presentable appearance of the office, including keeping the kitchen area clean, stocking office supplies and break room supplies.
- Drafts and edits correspondences and a variety of documents including, memos, letters, reports, etc. as requested by the CEO and Leadership team.
- Answer and screen telephone calls, take accurate messages, and check general voice mail.
- Manages medical document workflow (fax, mail, scan, and upload).
- Process and distribute faxes. Manage incoming/outgoing mail/packages, faxes, and deliveries, including review correspondence to ensure accurate patient information.
- Resolve client requests/problems and/or refer them to appropriate resources for follow-up.
- Assist with meetings and other office-wide events (set-up, clean up, preparing coffee, stocking supplies, ordering and picking up lunches for meetings, order business cards etc..as needed).
- Monitor fax and copy machines to ensure all paper trays are full.
- Presents visitors/clients to proper offices and announces them.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Accurate and highly proficient in proofreading and grammar.
2. Ability to meet deadlines, positive attitude, team player, and a self-starter.
3. Ability to solve practical problems and troubleshoot, multi-task, excellent time management and attention to detail.
Required Education and Experience
1. EMR Knowledge
2. High School Diploma
3. At least 2-3 years of previous administrative experience
4. Must have proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office Applications)
Preferred Education and Experience
1. A.A. or A.S. in a Healthcare related field/Business or equivalent academic and work experience.
2. Medical administrative assistant certification
Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Sundays and Saturdays. Compensation is $20.00/hour.
