Central Care Cancer Center is hiring a Medical Assistant to join the medical oncology team in their Bolivar, MO clinic location.

The Medical Assistant will work closely with the medical oncology staff. Candidates must have excellent communication, organization and follow-up skills with the ability to multitask. Candidates should demonstrate good judgement as well as attention to detail while working well within a team.

Essential Functions

• Assist with rooming patients, taking vitals and charting patient vitals
• Prepares treatment rooms for patients
• Assists with scheduling appointments; insurance requests, medical records, and other office duties as assigned
• Assist with setting up virtual appointments for patients
• Sends out physician notes when requested
• Provides support to front desk staff
• Communicates effectively with all clinic staff
