One of our top priorities as a primary care clinic is to help patients achieve a healthy lifestyle, and we are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant who is interested in collaborating with us in our mission. The ideal candidate will be comfortable fighting rising obesity rates by ensuring patient compliance with the clinic's eating plans, attending to patients' medical needs following surgery and providing other high-quality primary care services.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the doctor during examinations and procedures.
• Document the medical procedures and patient information.
• Control the flow of patient consultations and care, for example, by using sign-in sheets and appointment books.
• Alter patients' diets or activity patterns, or adjust their medication in response to instructions from a physician.
• Prepare patients for procedures such as X rays.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
