We are looking to immediately hire a Medical Assistant for a small, but busy, OBGYN practice with three medical providers. We are located near Rancho Springs hospital in Murrieta, California and are in need of a medical assistant to provide back office assistance to our clinical team. You will work closely with our physicians and help to provide excellent medical care in a warm and welcoming manner. Our motto is "Better Health Starts Here" because we strive to provide our patients the highest quality medical care. Our medical office is a Christ Centered, whole patient care office for women only.

Candidates must have the following qualifications:

• Be a certified medical assistant
• Have a positive attitude
• Be warm and welcoming
• Have good communication skills
• Be eager to learn
• Strong work ethic
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Be flexible and enjoy working in a growing medical practice
• Experience of one year or more in OBGYN is a plus
• Knowledge of E-clinical works is also a plus

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting physicians in daily patient care
• Obtaining patient vitals and rooming patients
• Preparing EMR charts with patient history
• Sterilizing Instruments
• Assisting the physician with various procedures
• Maintaining adequate medical supplies in clinical areas
• Conducting monthly inventories of medical supplies
• Submitting referrals
• Taking patient phone calls and conducting phone triage
• Calling patients and notifying them of their lab results
• Cleaning and turning over exam rooms
• Filling out various paperwork for patients
