Responsibilities for Billing/Credentialing/Coding Specialist:

1-Billing:

• Submit claims to insurance plans using EMR system Athena Health
• Work on denials in hold and manager's hold folder and resubmit corrected claims to insurances
• Get Referrals/ preauthorization for office visits and office tests
• Verify copays and assist staff with collection of copays
• Submit certain insurance claims through their specific portals
• Generate billing reports on regular basis
• Run AR report and call negative balances for collection
• Place patients on payments plans
• Work with our collection agency to submit accounts to collection if needed

2-Credenitaling:

• Submit applications to insurance plans to get providers credentialed
• Work with insurance plans to get group and providers credentialed in the correct way

3-Coding:

• Have solid background in coding and able to help with claims coding.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $18.29 - $22.02 per hour

Benefits:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Lombard, IL: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• ICD-10: 1 year (Required)
