Billing and Accounts Receivables Clerk to join an Orlando based business.
About this Position:
The Billing and Accounts Receivables Clerk is responsible for coding, billing, and submitting medical invoices/claims and processing needed resubmissions, managing our accounts receivable balances, and following up with claims owed from insurance carriers, third-party administrators, self-insured companies, and bill review companies - (NO patient collections work) while working closely with the rest of the accounting team and coordination staff.
What we specialize in is providing home care products and services for Workers Compensation claims.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coding, billing, resubmissions, pursuing past due AR, updating spreadsheets, working your follow-up schedule for payments, sending out aging reports, and verifying AR balances.
- Manage the AR process from creating bills to posting payments to following up on past-due claims.
- Research EOB/EORS from insurance carriers and other payer sources, doing resubmissions, communicating via phone, fax, and email with payer sources, and working past-due claims.
- Workman's Compensation experience (Multiple states preferred).
- Familiarity with all billing forms used for Workers Compensation billing.
- Familiarity with billing process of claims creation, submission, resubmission, final collection and posting of payments.
- Certified in Medical Billing & Coding
