Reporting to the Inpatient Laboratory Operations and Technical Manager, the Laboratory Medical Technologist (MT) or Medical Lab Technician (MLT) will perform a diverse set tasks in keeping this busy department running smoothly. Operationally, this person will work to improve service standards for both internal and external customers, and will play a significant role in keeping activities for the Clinical Laboratory organized.

The Inpatient MT/MLT will also take responsibility for Clinical aspects of Laboratory operations including specimen collection, processing, and analysis. This person will work as a generalist, so should be ASCP Certified and have experience in most sections of laboratory testing.

Working alongside pathologists, microbiologists, cytologists, and histologists, the Inpatient Medical Laboratory Technologist will be immersed in a culture and environment where learning and growth are a natural part of the job.
