ATFCU is seeking a professional individual for the position of full time Member Service Representative. Responsibilities

• Provide excellent member service, including responding to members’ request, problems, and complaints in a courteous, pleasant, and efficient manner.
• Provide support to members, in-person and over the phone, related to items such as accounts, loans, credit union products and services, digital banking, interest rates, account balances, transaction detail, loan payoffs, and disputes.
• Process account applications for savings, checking, share certificates, IRAs, and other credit union accounts.
• Assist members with the consumer loan application process, including collecting application information from the member and inputting it into the loan processing computer system; gathering documents such as proof of income, payoffs, buyer’s orders from dealerships, collateral registration, proof of insurance, etc…; calculating debt-to-income and loan-to-value ratios; verifying income; evaluating credit reports; and pulling collateral values.
• Process and close loan applications, including presentation of applications to a Senior Lender with recommendations for approval/denial; preparation of all loan documents for closings, modifications, or adverse actions; review loan documents with applicant for signature; and fund consumer loans.
• Learn and apply credit union policies and procedures, including lending and member service policies.
• Learn and utilize various computer systems and an electronic document imaging system for various tasks, such as inputting transactions, processing account & loan applications, account & loan servicing, document scanning and retrieval, research, and identification review.

Qualifications

• At least one year of customer service in a financial institution.
• Applicants with loan experience and/or a college-degree may be given special consideration.
• Excellent customer service and verbal/written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and problem solve
• Possesses a strong attention to detail.
