Centennial Peaks Hospital has been providing psychiatric services to the Denver-metro area for more than 30 years. Located in beautiful Louisville, CO, our 104-bed facility provides a peaceful setting for those seeking treatment for mental illness including chemical dependency.

Centennial Peaks Hospital is looking for a dynamic Full-Time ECT Mental Health Technician! The ECT MHT delivers quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patients for treatment of psychiatric or emotional disorders. The ECT MHT is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice on the unit.

The ECT Department is fast paced and interactive. The right candidate will demonstrate quick decision-making, self-motivation, and responsiveness. Staff must demonstrate flexibility for reassignment to providing care to varied populations including male and female adults and dually diagnosed patients.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• One-year experience working with a psychiatric patient population preferred.
• Knowledge of therapeutic relationships processes, age specific growth and development, limit setting and behavior management, crisis management with aggressive behaviors, and CPR training preferred or ability to learn.

Shift Differentials: $3.25-$5.00/hr

The schedule is Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Hours vary between 8-12 hours per day.
