About the Role:

The Micro Lab Technician role at the Cambridge location provides support to the Quality Assurance team by assisting in testing of finished goods to assure their safety and absence of growth of microorganisms, prior to introduction to commerce. You’ll add value to this role by performing various functions including, but not limited to:

• Assisting in conducting micro analysis of finished product for APC and MY (primarily testing product for pH, and creating paper records)
• Assisting in performing in-house environmental air testing, aerobic & listeria swabbing, and water testing
• Performing daily pH meter calibration
• Coordinating set up and tear down of samples throughout the day and disposing of waste
• Monitoring incubation rooms for accurate temperatures and maintaining circular charts
• Assisting in maintaining accurate inventory
• Maintaining the product library and shelf life testing of retained products
• Working alongside management team to implement corrective actions from defects discovered during testing
• Revising QC forms as needed

Important Details: This is a full-time permanent role on a Monday - Friday shift.

About You:

• Knowledge of microbiology and chemistry
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow and meet deadlines in a timely manner
• Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
