As part of the Quality and Mission Success organization for the rotary wing program based in Lexington, KY, responsibilities will be program and aircraft quality assurance. Must have a thorough knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts. Requires broad knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems, sheet metal/structural modifications and repair, electrical theory, and a thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, etc. This job requires extensive knowledge of technical publications. Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.
Basic Qualifications:
Quality Control Inspector having over 5 years recent on/off aircraft maintenance and Quality Control experience including structural, electrical, and mechanical disciplines.
Able to identify and understand non-conformities, as they relate to safety-of-flight inspections, procedural breakdowns, and/or program (process) audits.
Experienced with Foreign Object Debris (FOD) industry standards; equipment calibration procedures; general security procedures. Must be able to read/interpret engineering drawings/instructions; system schematics/blueprints; and technical policy/maintenance instructions. Must have experience in making and clearing entries in aircraft logs and records. Must have experience with aircraft and component historical records.
Possess a basic understanding of aircraft weight and balance principals. Flexibility, a positive attitude and excellent people skills are a must.
Desired Skills:
In-depth knowledge of MH-47G, A/MH-6 Mission Enhanced Little Bird (MELB), and MH-60 aircraft systems.
Practical experience with Quality Management (QMS) internal audit processes-formal training preferred.
Ability to evaluate process compliance, write/review CA/PA reports, perform root cause analysis and validate quality processes, responses, and plans. Experienced in inspection of Aircraft ground handling/servicing; component removal/replacement; scheduled and unscheduled maintenance; Time Compliance Technical Orders (TCTO) execution. Aircraft weight and balance certified. Have an in-depth knowledge of aircraft historical records.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
