We are adding a Mobile Applications Systems Engineer to our team in Columbus, Indiana! In this position, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting the requirements needed for the development of software applications or other technology products
Responsibilities:
Communication: You will be responsible for working with stakeholders to understand their needs, goals, and priorities. You will need to communicate effectively with them to gather requirements and provide feedback on the feasibility of their requests.- Defining functional requirements: You will need to document functional requirements, including use cases, business rules, and other specifications that the development team can use to build the application.
- Coordinating with the development team: You will need to work closely with the development team to ensure that the requirements are being met and that the product is being developed according to the specifications.
- Managing project timelines: You may be responsible for managing project timelines and ensuring that the project is progressing on schedule.
- Providing technical support: You may need to provide technical support to end-users and the development team as needed.
- Previous experience working in an AGILE development environment.

- Development with complex products involving data collection and analytics
- Automotive network protocols - CAN/SAE J1939/Ethernet/OPC-UA
- Client/server and cloud-based technologies
- Databases capabilities and management
- Working on multiple projects and with global teams involved.
- Automotive Service systems and environment
- Product development for iOS, Android, Linux, and Windows applications
- UX design principles
- Bachelors in Computer Science or related field
