Holman Ford of Turnersville has an outstanding opportunity for a skilled Mobile Automotive Technician to join the Holman family and service our local Holman community!
***Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus based on qualifications. Relocation assistance available***
What will you do?
The Mobile Technician must be experienced in the following areas:
Perform mobile test drives, inspections, and other diagnostic tests on vehicles
Identifies mechanical problems visually and/or with mobile diagnostic equipment
Examines critical parts and systems using standard checklists and manufacturer guidelines
Inspects internal systems and controls to ensure the vehicle is operating properly and in compliance with state regulations
Follows strategy based diagnosis protocol to identify where problems exist and determine which parts need to be repaired or replaced
Recommends needed repairs or maintenance on customer or company cars
Repairs or replaces malfunctioning parts and systems such brake pads, belts, water pumps, transmissions, and other mechanical parts
Completes preventative maintenance on vehicles, such as performing oil changes, flushing and replacing fluids, tire rotation, and replacing brakes
Performs mobile repairs to factory standards and dealership specifications
Follows manufacturer and dealership repair procedures when performing any repairs outside of dealership
Conducts post-repair testing and diagnostics to confirm proper operation, that repairs have been made properly, and that problems have been resolved
Accurately identifies and list the conditions, cause and remedy (“CCR”) on repair orders, using correct grammar and professional language
Ensure that all paperwork is complete, accurate, and legible and finished in a timely fashion
Continue to develop additional technical skills, as appropriate, to enable flexibility in work assignments
Maintains knowledge of technical bulletins issued by the manufacturer and read 100% of those bulletins that apply to your own mobile job assignments
Maintain a clean, safe and well-organized work area at customer’s home
Properly maintain tools and equipment when performing mobile service work and follow correct safety practices
What are we looking for?
1+ Auto service center experience highly desired
Strong customer communication skills
Appropriate Technical Automotive Training or FORD Certifications desired, ASEs a plus
Valid Drivers License and a clean MVR
Willingness to undergo our background, drug and physical requirements
