Citibank, N.A. seeks a Senior VP – Model Analysis Valid Sr. Officer I for its O’Fallon, MO location.

Duties: Conduct model governance functions to manage model risk across the model lifecycle including validation, ongoing performance evaluation and annual model reviews for Citi’s US Personal Banking businesses including Branded Cards, Citi Retail Services, Retail Banking Unsecured Lending and Mortgage. Manage design and streamline procedures to evaluate product risk from modeling activities across different functional areas, including Credit Risk, Finance, Consumer Analytics and Fraud. Lead model risk evaluations for new products and services. Manage engagement with independent validation teams to define scope of model applications and delineate performance testing requirements to support identified model usages. Translate operational requests into programming and data criteria to guide model development efforts. Manage senior management attestation process for periodic model inventory reviews. Compile and present model governance updates to model stakeholders in quarterly forums. Lead efforts for preparation and submission of deliverables in Regulatory Exams, internal audits, and reviews by coordinating participation and inputs from modeling teams. Ensure that statistical and financial models are compliant with internal and federal regulatory guidelines and models are properly developed, documented, implemented and model use is confined to uses approved by Model Risk Management. Oversee compliance with policies, procedures and relevant deadlines associated with the validation, ongoing monitoring, and model change processes. Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policy.

Requirements: Must possess a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field, plus six (6) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, as an Analyst or in a related occupation within the financial services industry. Must possess at least three (3) years of experience with all of the following skills: Using SAS or similar statistical coding software to build and test prediction models; Handling modeling and reporting data sets and documentation; Performing risk management at a financial institution with experience in model development and validation; Validation and testing techniques covering risk models; Regulatory Exam and Audit Management; Long term project management in financial services industry and model governance and controls. In the alternative, Employer will accept a Master’s degree in a stated field of study plus four (4) years of experience, plus three (3) years of experience in each of the above stated skills. Employer will accept any combination of education, experience, or training. Pre or post Master’s degree experience is acceptable. 40 hrs./wk.
