The Malta Montessori School was established in 2006 and has experienced much growth as our program and children have aged. Malta Montessori currently enrolls children from the ages of 15 months to 12 years for children between Toddler Class and 6th Grade. The school is located conveniently right off of Interstate 87 at exit 12 making it easily accessible for parents from the Clifton Park, Ballston Spa, Burnt-Hills, Ballston Lake, Stillwater, Malta, and Saratoga areas.

We strive to provide a beautiful, stimulating, caring and enriching learning environment where children will have every opportunity to learn to the best of their abilities. Part Time (8am-1pm) assistant toddler teacher position available for immediate start date.

Assistant teachers must have the ability to work as a member of a team, a willingness to learn, with lots of patience and love for children. Prior work experience with young children is necessary, a degree in early childhood education or related field as well as Montessori experience preferred.

The Assistant Teacher is responsible for aiding the classroom Head Teacher in the maintenance of a positive, safe and productive Montessori educational environment. The Assistant Teacher is to respect and support the Head Teacher; maintain the confidentiality of the classroom; cooperate in enforcing the ground rules; model grace and courtesy; refer parent inquiries to the Head Teacher; and dress appropriately.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
