In close partnership with our Senior Manager for Communications, this Associate will bring to life the MGS business strategy both internally and externally. They will be responsible for writing and editing, multimedia, and executive communications.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree required (Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related field preferred).
• 5-8 years of communications experience, including executive communications.
• Must have strong writing skills (pitch angles, talking points, press releases and by-line articles), media relations skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across the company, including executives.
• Creativity in deploying new tactics and tools to communicate externally.
• Pragmatic and can manage a fluid and sometimes fast-moving workload.
• Self-motivated with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Lead executive visibility for the MGS Leadership Team by developing and implementing best in class executive communications campaigns. Provide council and support with messaging, content, social media and internal placement.
• Work with external PR agency to identify and track opportunities for executive exposure.
• Support the integrated execution of key campaigns across the organization that ladder up to our Purpose and MGS global strategy.
• Regularly report on communications results and effectiveness, using clear metrics to define success and refine strategy and pitches.
• Ensure we have clear governance around external engagements that’s communicated effectively and upheld throughout the organization.
• Own and manage our MGS speakers bureau and the creation of an external content calendar.
• Must be able to translate complex messages into compelling stories that will resonate with media and internal audiences.
