NDE Engineer. BS or foreign equivalent in Industrial Eng.+ 2 yr relevant exp. Duties include: testing & evaluating equipment used in production processes, including labor, quality control, logistics & cost. Estimate costs for testing equipment used in production process. Consider cost saving methods & effects of design changes on expenditures. Plan & establish sequence of testing equipment used in production processes & to promote efficient utilization. Analyze statistical data from testing of equipment used in production processes to determine reliability & integrity of equipment. Confer w/ clients, staff & management personnel regarding equipment used to test equipment used in production processes, specifications, capabilities, or project status. Communicate w/ management & user personnel to develop testing & evaluation procedures & design standards. Perform engineering duties in the testing & evaluation of equipment used in productions processes. Confer w/ engineers or other personnel on procedures for testing & evaluating equipment used in production processes. Investigate failures of equipment used in production processes.
