NETWORK ENGINEER/ADMINISTRATOR

Immediate Network Engineer/Administrator opening onsite in West Lebanon, NH with one of the largest Pharmaceutical & BioTech corporations in the world!

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• 2+ years hands on Network Administration, Configuration and System Administration experience is required
• Knowledge and experience with CISCO technologies as well as Veeam technologies preferred
• VMWare experience is preferred
• Must be local to West Lebanon and be required to work full time onsite Mon to Fri

• Hourly Pay: $49.78/hr
• Description:

Key responsibilities:
Maintaining and administering computer networks (based on CISCO Technologies covering but not limited to Switches and Access Points) and related computing environments (based on VMWare Technology) including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.

Performing periodic disaster recovery operations and data backups (based on VEEAM technology, covering VEEAM administration console, agents, and associated hardware like Tape Library and Network Attached Storage).

Protecting data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures.
Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and other network and system problems.

Replacing faulty network hardware components when required.
Maintaining, configuring, and monitoring virus protection, intrusion detection and white listening agents .
Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made (based on SolarWinds technology, covering SolarWinds administration console and agents).
Conferring with network users about solving existing system problems.

Operating master consoles to monitor the performance of networks and computer systems.
Coordinating computer network access and use.
Designing, configuring, and testing networking software, computer hardware, and operating system software.
Document the work on the electronic system (ServiceNow) for Service Requests, Incidents, Problems, Changes, CMDB, and Knowledge Database
Ensure network related documentation like drawings and diagrams are maintained updated/current.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $35.00 - $49.00 per hour
