Our Team: Solve Therapeutics, Inc. is a US-based biotechnology company developing antibody-drug conjugates (ADC) and antibody-radionuclide conjugates (ARC) to treat life-threatening cancers. We have research facilities in both San Diego, CA, and Durham, NC. Our leadership comprises a highly experienced biotechnology team with a strong track record of success with startup companies and in developing clinical drugs.
We are currently expanding our ARC research and development at the Durham, North Carolina site and are seeking a full-time Nuclear Medicine Biochemist to join our team.
Here’s What You’ll Do.
- You will join a research team developing a preclinical pipeline focused on both radionuclide therapeutics and companion diagnostics for ADCs.
- Research responsibilities for this role will focus on the radiolabeling of antibodies and biological ligands with radionuclides, overseeing the subsequent protein characterization and cellular bioactivity assays of the targeted radiotherapeutics.
- You will have a central role in progressing and expanding the preclinical portfolio of radiotherapeutics and radio diagnostics for oncology.

- You have 2-4+ years of Radionuclide expertise (critical to this role).
- You are highly reliable, self-motivated, team-centric, and adaptable to the flexibility required in biotechnology start-up companies.
- You have strong analytical, data management, and communication skills.
Education Requirements: MS or PhD highly preferred
Technical Skills – Highly Desired
- Radiolabeling chemistry (halogen and metal)
- Antibody bioconjugation chemistry
- PET radio diagnostics labeling
- Protein analytical techniques
- SDS polyacrylamide electrophoresis, ELISA assays, Lindmo assay, HPLC)
- Cellular bioactivity assays
- Affinity, internalization, & cytotoxicity assays
- Cell culture
- Radionuclide handling expertise
Desired, but not necessary
- Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR)
- Flow Cytometry
- VHH, sdAb, or mAb drug conjugate development experience
- Protein mass spectrometry
- PET and/or SPECT imaging and analysis
- Recombinant protein engineering & expression (E.coli or mammalian)
- Animal tumor models
Compensation: This position is a full-time position with a base salary commensurate with your educational level, skill set, and experience. The position includes full medical benefits and the potential for an annual bonus and stock-option equity.
