Mercyhealth, an award-winning fully integrated health care delivery organization based in Wisconsin and Illinois, is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our General/Trauma Surgery team in Janesville, WI.

Opportunity:

• Collaborate with experienced multidisciplinary team including Emergency Medicine physicians, Trauma physicians, General Surgeons, and Hospitalists and have the full support of an excellent team of RNs and support staff
• 6 FTE; Part-time benefits, hourly
• Holiday and weekend coverage only to cover weekend NPs’ time off, not a regular rotation of coverage
• Hospital rounding with Trauma and General Surgeons, clinic visits

Qualifications:

• Ability to work well independently and under pressure.
• Strong communication/interpretive and analytical skills.
• A high level of independent judgment and ability to handle empowerment for independent action.
• Ability to pass the Wisconsin Caregiver Background Check

Licensure/Certifications:

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
• Current WI APNP or PA License
• Current DEA number
• ATLS certification
• Obtain CME experience as required for certification
• Other certifications as required
