The Position:

The Nurse Scheduler is the main point of contact for the nursing department. The Nurse Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and planning the scheduling activities and associated tasks for the nursing department. This includes but is not limited to Inter-agency care coordination. This position is responsible for ensuring that the schedules are maintained accurately and efficiently for all nursing patients. Responsibilities include:

• Demonstrates the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure.
• Demonstrates knowledge of the geographical area to ensure efficiency in scheduling and coordination of nursing visits.
• Demonstrates regard for the right of all patients and personnel and provides respectful and considerate care focused on the patient's individual needs.
• Demonstrates accountability and responsibility for own work.
• Acquires, maintains and demonstrates current knowledge and competency.
• Demonstrates a commitment to service and possesses excellent customer service skills
• Basic to intermediate efficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills
• Demonstrates excellent phones skills and communication skills

Schedule:

• Typical Business Hours 9:30a-6p
• In person at our Norcross office

• High School Diploma
• Previous work experience related to scheduling. Home infusion experience a plus
• Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook. CPR Plus application experience a plus
• Scheduling experience
• Clinical experience
