Pay rate: $130 - $140/wk. $5200 - $5600/wk.

Job description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Nurse Manager (RN) for a leading healthcare institution in Rochester, NY. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of a hospital unit or department, managing a team of nurses and ensuring the highest standards of patient care are met.

Key Responsibilities:

- Managing and supervising a team of nurses, including recruitment, training and development, scheduling and performance management.

- Collaborating with physicians, therapists and other healthcare providers to develop treatment plans and ensure quality of care.

- Monitoring and assessing patient outcomes, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and standards of care.

- Managing and maintaining clinical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital policies.

- Coordinating patient care activities, including admissions, transfers, and discharges.

- Managing unit budget and resources, including inventory management and equipment maintenance.

- Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives, working with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate change and ensure adherence to best practices.

- Providing support and guidance to patients and their families, and serving as an advocate for their needs and concerns.
