Asbury Care Center at Solon, a leader in the sub-acute and long term care market seeks an experienced, energetic, and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our growing healthcare team. This position requires candidates to be licensed Occupational Therapist and independent new graduates are welcome to apply. The selected candidate should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and at least one year of therapy leadership experience in a skilled nursing or post-acute rehabilitation setting. We are looking for someone who can assist in fostering a team environment, building amazing in-house therapy programs, promoting collaboration with our interdisciplinary team, and establishing the center as the preferred Nursing/Long Term Care provider within the communities we serve. The Role:

We are seeking a compassionate therapy OT who wants to be on the frontlines, develop clinical practices and staff developmental opportunities, advocate for staff and patients, and take our therapy team to new heights. Responsibilities:

• Evaluating and treating patients
• Supervising OT Assistants
• Review the medical records assuring federal and state requirements and conditions of participation for Medicare, Medicaid and other alternative payment models met.
• Maintains detailed and accurate documentation of goals, treatment and outcomes

Qualifications:

• Desire to enrich resident experience
• Have a valid OT license
• Long term care experience preferred but welcome other clinical backgrounds
• Demonstrated ability to maintain positive employee relationships
• Ability to follow all applicable policies and procedures as well as current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long term care facilities
