BayCare Health System is currently in search of our newest Occupational Therapist who is passionate about providing outstanding customer service to our community at BayCare Alliant Hospital. BayCare Alliant Hospital is licensed as a 48-bed long term acute care specialty hospital and accredited by The Joint Commission. Alliant offers a multi-disciplinary, family-centered approach to extended care, with physicians, nursing and other health care specialists working together toward the best possible recovery for patients.
Occupational Therapist Responsibilities
- Evaluates and develops specific treatment programs for individual patients/residents based on their needs and in accordance with the principles and practices of occupational therapy.
- Responsible for providing the appropriate level of clinical direction for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants, Rehabilitation Technicians, Fitness Specialists, Massage Therapists, Occupational Therapy and Occupational Therapy Assistant students and volunteers.
- A supervising licensed Occupational Therapist may only supervise 1 permittee at any given time.
