Job description

The Park Savoy is looking for Part time Office/Accounting assistant for Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday only (9am - 5pm). Please Apply via email only to Careers@theparksavoy.com

Responsibilities

  • Answer, screen and direct phone calls in a professional and friendly manner
  • Schedule appointments
  • Provide information to callers
  • Welcome visitors with a positive, helpful attitude
  • Prepare correspondence and documents
  • Organize conference and meeting rooms
  • Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine, and a computer
  • Receive deliveries
  • Provide general administrative and clerical support to colleagues
  • Perform basic filing and data entry as requested
  • Maintain office supply stock and restock as needed
  • Provide support to accounting department
  • Make bank deposits
  • Help processing invoices
  • Maintain confidentiality of all financial data
  • Enter vendor bills

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel and Word
  • Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable multi-tasking without guidance
  • Able to contribute as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required
  • Punctual
  • Flexibility to add or switch days when needed
  • Professional personal presentation
  • Experience in Quick Books preferred
  • Strong Math Skills
  • Associates Degree in Accounting, bookkeeping, finance or similar a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk
  • Ability to climb staircases multiple times a day
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
