We are looking for a person who would like to work with us on an as-needed basis, approximately 10 to 20 hours per week, with hours changeable depending on workload. Responsibilities include data entry, creating and editing documents, working with PowerPoint presentations, proofreading scripts and project related documents, filing paperwork, mail processing, occasional shipping duties, customer phone support, and other general office work. The candidate must be committed to project deadlines and must be available for occasional evening and weekend work. The candidate must be able to work on a virtual basis from home approximately 90% of the time, but may, on occasion, be required to go to a client's location, or the Envision Group company office, or attend a company meeting. The candidate must have his/her own computer with software and a reliable Internet connection.
The special skills we are looking for include multimedia communications, editing and publishing, and office and administrative support.
Salary is hourly, based on experience. The job is part-time, freelance, and located in Lake County, Illinois.

We will consider candidates missing specific skills if they are willing to acquire them quickly and have a proven track record for reliability, character, and personality, which we view as important as skill sets.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite:
- Word: Must be able to create templates, multipage documents, and set up headers and footers, proofread, add images, wrap text, add graphics, set up tables, and fix layout issues.
- PowerPoint: Must have basic layout and design skills and be able to use animation and transition effects.
- Excel: Must have the ability to use basic formulas, set up tables, and format shading and borders.
- Familiarity with graphic design applications including Photoshop or other similar products, or ability to quickly learn.
- Familiarity with other Adobe applications a plus but not required (e.g., InDesign and Sound Booth).
- Excellent English and grammar skills with the ability to write and edit documents for spelling and grammar.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work with a virtual team from home and to connect to Web meetings.
- A good attitude and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, entrepreneurial business environment.
- A self-starter and a team player who works well with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and customer interface skills.
- Experience with Web-based applications.
