About the Opportunity

  • Assist with answering calls that come into the office.
  • Reach out to caregivers weekly to get most recent availability, document and record into database.
  • Enter notes into database regarding issues and/or updates
  • Manage office operations, ensuring that a professional workplace is maintained.
  • Work closely with Administrator/Care Coordinator, Payroll and Billing.
  • Enters and records KPI’s on scorecard.
  • Report to Administrator who would be the best candidate for employee recognition programs.
  • Collect current drivers license information, car insurance and updated certifications.
  • Promptly answers inquiries from potential and current clients.
  • Ensure the office is staffed appropriately during business hours.
  • Ensure that all information regarding clients and employees is documented thoroughly and immediately, in accordance with company policy.
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude and environment.
  • Interview and on-board exceptional caregivers that pass hiring standards.
  • Validate caregiver hours worked, routing appropriately for payroll processing.
  • Accurately schedule/coordinate caregivers based on client assessment/care plan.
  • Promptly and appropriately responds to schedule conflicts, emergencies and “call outs”.
  • Complete next business day/weekend schedules before end of each business day.
  • Must be organized, proactive, flexible and work effectively in high-activity environments.
  • Support recruitment, interviewing and selection of qualified caregivers, schedulers and off-hour support roles.
  • Manage staff orientation, training, development, retention and day-to-day operations.
  • Must be reliable and responsive, with the ability to convey a high degree of trust and empathy for every new client and caregiver.
  • Manage scheduling operations including caregiver placement, case coverage, off-hour support, and quality assurance.

Amada’s ideal Office Assistant will have:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, relevant college education/degree a plus.
  • Prior office experience is required, 2+ years preferred.
  • Experience in homecare or healthcare a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook as well as Explorer and/or Chrome.
  • Tech savvy with the ability to learn and effectively operate software programs quickly
  • Must be willing to gain a thorough understanding of regulations regarding the homecare industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • On call
  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • El Paso, TX 79912: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
