Vocational Rehabilitation - Bismarck, ND - Office Manager

The North Dakota Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS) is seeking an Office Manager for its Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) Division.

Every day as the Officer Manager, you will play a key role on the VR team serving as a central point of contact for administrative support activities for the State and Regional VR offices, coordinating on-going projects affecting multiple functions of the organization, and completing fiscal responsibilities such as reviewing travel vouchers for accuracy and utilizing a state purchasing card for routine purchases. This role will serve as the Executive Assistant to the division director providing support on all matters as assigned and will also serve as back-up to Regional Offices as needed.

To thrive in this role, you must be flexible in your daily tasks, a strong communicator, possess solid decision-making and organizational skills as well as the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in your work. This position requires the skills necessary for working with confidential information. Work is expected to be performed with a high degree of professionalism, accuracy, and integrity.

To be considered for this role, you must have five (5) years of full-time work experience involving a variety of complex and executive level office support. College-level course work in business administration or a field directly related to the work to be performed may be substituted for the required work experience on a year-for-year basis.
