Job description
Outpost Construction Co, a commercial general contractor specializing in ground-up, build-to-suit, and build-out projects in Texas, Utah, and Florida, is seeking a reliable, responsible, and motivated individual to join our team as a part-time / full-time Bookkeeper Office Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate and timely entry of financial data into accounting systems
- Manage vendor payments, including purchase order review, discrepancy resolution, and W-9 maintenance
- Generate invoices and prepare draw packages in compliance with client specifications
- Perform administrative duties and provide support to the construction project team
- Process timesheets and handle payroll tasks
- Serve as the main point of contact for the office and work independently
- Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Gusto, and Xero
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping, office management, or a related field
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with accounting software, such as Gusto and Xero
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- Reliable, trustworthy, and able to maintain confidential information
This position is initially part-time, with the potential for a quick transition to full-time for the right candidate. The pay for this role is $18-$22 per hour, equivalent to an annual salary of $40,000-$45,000.
