The Surgical Tech assists the surgeon in performing various surgical procedures on patients presenting to the OR. They must work effectively with the physicians, clients, and peers possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy. Must be able to work under pressure.
Applicant must have completed a surgical technologist program and be certified as a surgical technologist or was employed to practice surgical technology in a health care facility in SC before January 1, 2008.
