Lead Onboarding Coordinator

Trumpet Behavioral Health (TBH) is hiring a Lead Onboarding Coordinator who shares a passion for guiding, assisting, and helping new talent in their first days at TBH. In this function you will lead collaborative efforts to provide an excellent and efficient onboarding experience. Trumpet Behavioral Health is a purpose driven and fast-paced organization. This role is a crucial liaison for the company and promotes success for all team members.

The Onboarding team is an essential part of the human resources department and is responsible for obtaining personal records and background verification for new and current employees. The team manages a variety of tasks including system assignment, adjudication of background background checks, validating education, I-9 verification, records management for new and expiring documents, ordering medical appointments and reviewing medical records, and managing time sensitive tasks.

The Lead Onboarding Coordinator demonstrates a positive, can do attitude, flexibility and ability to problem solve. In this role you will manage workflow, manage information from a variety of sources, meticulously track new hires and report to internal constituencies.

As an Onboarding Lead, you will:

  • Coordinate all the activities from when a new employee accepts an offer through their first 90-days
  • Serve as the main point-of-contact for new employees to answer questions and connect them with TBH team members
  • Conduct audits and processing data change
  • Manage systems and tools related to onboarding; make recommendations for and implement improvements
  • Manage HRIS systems
  • Evaluate and manage occupational health vendors
  • Assess candidates for desired skill sets through application evaluations and interviews
  • Grow with TBH by supporting internal initiatives to uplift our people, processes, and market presence
  • Cultivate new skill sets based on your own professional development goals utilizing the learning and development budget.

You have:

  • 2+ years of onboarding / recruiting experience in a high volume hiring or fast paced working environments
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and/or learning management systems preferred, but not required
  • Proficiency in excel and or google sheets
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills; ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • The ability to quickly build rapport including excellent interpersonal and networking skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; Proficiency in Google Suite or MS Office Suite
  • History of self-motivation and initiative; the ability to work unsupervised, independently, and efficiently
  • HRIS experience (UltiPro preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $51,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
